See one thing is for sure all college students are happy that the semester is coming to an end, but what about those students that haven’t don so well!?!? Although it has been a truly great semester for me, I have heard people I know say all too many times that they are failing a class, and desperately want to drop a course. Well, what do they do in cases such as these, when they are trying hard not to affect their GPA?
First off, I don’t know what the school would suggest for them to do, but I know what I wouldn’t do in a case like this. I wouldn’t drop out for sure, because we will have our bad and good semesters. I wouldn’t take more then one extremely difficult class at a time, and I would try to take classes that I enjoy as well as those that are necessary; the point of electives. As someone that allowed her advisor to tell her to drop the semester, I would definitely not rely on one suggestion, even if it is from someone who is supposed to be helping you; unfortunately a job is just a job to some, and your well being is of no real concern!
See if you could work it out, ask your advisor (if worthy), or see another advisor and have them tally up your anticipated grades and see what your GPA for the semester may be. That way you can see if it would hurt you really bad, or if you would have the opportunity to salvage your GPA in the upcoming semester. Sometimes we freak out unnecessarily, and we are not rational when our heads are turning in every which direction. Now, this is coming from someone who has been there and done that. I have had the advisor that told me to quit and now I have the advisor that has my best interest at heart. So before you give up, and take the worst way out, whether it be dropping the class or dropping out – remember that for every person that will screw you over there are two people who won’t!!!!!!!

Classic.......
Have you sat and listened to those songs or watched those videos of songs that you can't but say "Dam* I remember this song" to. Well I haven't much to say about them, except that fact that they are all classic songs, whether they date from 2006 back to 1975. This is not the average editorial, it is more or less a collaboration of songs that should remind you of songs that you may or may not have grown up with. They are however, definitely songs that you have heard one time or another. Have Fun!!!!!

Why Do Black Women Nag So Much!!!!
See, you probably thought that I was about to complain about the fact that Black women have so many issues, but it is quite the contrary. This is strictly an editorial and is not to be taken as a consensus. Black women complain and nag they way they do, most of the time because of the men. What a lot of people fail to understand is that a Black woman is quicker to stick by her significant other, through thick and thin. She will still be there when he cheats, when he lies, when he needs a break, and during the good times too. You say, hey so what is the point of nagging!
A woman is only a woman, and we take in more then men do when it comes to our homes. We are the ones who tend to the home, we hardly get recognition, and we still do it day after dreary day. You have some men who will pamper his woman to any extinct, but they are a rare commodity. Yes, I said rare, because they are, most want their cake and eat it too. I think people get it misconstrued about a Black woman and her nagging.
See when we nag it is always out of love, regardless of how we display it. We believe in foundation and substance, and we want our homes, our men to do the best they can, because it benefits them as a whole. If you pay attention to what we are fussing about, it would be clear that we have nothing but his best intentions at heart. Black women go through a lot, especially when it comes to our men wanting something else, and by that I do mean a white woman.
Crystal Long said, "My boyfriend and I have been together for at least 5 years, and during that time we have had our share of problems, and around 2 years ago he cheated on me with a white girl. I believe we argued, and fought for weeks, but at the end of it all, I knew I loved him, I knew he was the one for me because the one thing that I hate the most, is what he did and I was still there". Black women do these things, they stick around even when they have been hurt drastically, and for Crystal that was it for her, but she fussed, she fought and she is still there 2 years later.
W are the backbone, we are the queens, and no matter what anyone says, we are stronger and that is why relationships last, and that is also why they fail. You have some Black women who are not what I am describing, just the same as we have plenty of good men out there, but at the end of the day we are still going to be categorized at strong. In any relationship it takes two to make it succeed, and not succumb to the hard times, and temptation. I can sit hear and talk about why we nag, but there are different solutions to every situation.
Just think about it, we lived so long behind the face of others, isn't it time to appreciate what we have and who we are.
